My family has a long history of sharing knowledge through oral histories. This is how we learn complex skills be in the marine environment or raising our young. This blog is attempt to show this to others who maybe interested in knowing about my family and possible engage them to reflect on there own.
This assignment was a Journey through self discovery whereby my family’s past, present and future is told through an oral history or testament of B.C. family fishermen and their relationship through adult education storytelling. This connection is developed through a myriad of various education learning paradigms and descriptions. Including the history of the B.C. fishery, philosophies, approaches and ending with the oral history of B.C. fishermen and their relationship with Adult Education.
